How to Participate as a Contractor
We partner with a limited number of local contractors who share our commitment to quality work, professionalism, and long-term home care.
Participation is simple:
1. Apply to Join
Contractors submit a brief application with licensing, insurance, service areas, and trade specialties. This helps ensure every contractor listed meets our baseline standards.
2. Review & Vetting
Each applicant is reviewed based on experience, reputation, communication, and consistency of work observed through inspections and client feedback.
3. Ongoing Standards
Participation is ongoing and reviewed periodically. Contractors are expected to maintain licensing, insurance, responsiveness, and professional conduct to remain listed.
4. Choose a Participation Tier
Approved contractors select a monthly participation level that determines listing visibility, service areas, and featured placement within the Trusted Local Contractor Network. Participation in the Trusted Local Contractor Network is offered as a monthly subscription, with a discounted annual option for long-term partners. Annual partners receive 2 months free when paid in full.
TIER 1 - Verified
- Starting at $39 / month or $390 / year (2 months free)
Includes:
- Listing under one trade specialty
- Listing in one county
- Business name and phone number
- Verified Contractor designation
- Inclusion in the Local Contractor Network
- Best for contractors looking for a trusted local presence with minimal commitment.
TIER 2 - Trusted
- Starting at $109 / month or $1,090 / year (2 months free)
Includes everything in Tier 1, plus:
- Listing under multiple trade specialties
- Listing in up to two counties
- Website link
- Priority placement within listings
- Annual business review & strategy check-in
TIER 3 - Premier Local Business
- Starting at $199 / month or $1,990 / year (2 months free)
- Reserved for contractors who consistently demonstrate exceptional workmanship and professionalism.
Includes everything in Tier 2, plus:
- Premier Contractor badge
- Top placement across applicable counties and trades
- Short business description
- Expanded service area coverage up to 3 counties
- Quarterly business & performance check-ins
- Periodic feature marketing opportunities on Wholesome Homes Co. platforms
